LG-002 – Competition Terms &
Conditions

1. Competition Overview

1.1 Competition Details

Each PWR competition is governed by these Competition Terms & Conditions
together with the specific Competition Rules published for that individual
competition.


The Competition Rules will form part of these Terms & Conditions and will contain
the information specific to each competition, including:

  • Competition name.

  • Prize description.

  • Entry price (where applicable).

  • Details of the free postal entry route (where available).

  • Opening date and time.

  • Closing date and time.

  • Winner selection method.

  • Prize draw date (where applicable).

  • Prize delivery arrangements.

  • Any additional competition-specific conditions.

If there is any inconsistency between these Competition Terms & Conditions and the Competition Rules, the Competition Rules will prevail only in relation to the specific competition, provided they comply with applicable law.

1.2 Competition Promoter

Unless otherwise stated, each competition is promoted and administered by PWR (“the Promoter”).

The Promoter is responsible for:

● Administering the competition.
● Accepting eligible entries.
● Conducting the winner selection process.
● Verifying winners.

● Arranging prize fulfilment.
● Ensuring competitions are conducted fairly, transparently and in accordance with applicable UK law.

Where a prize is supplied by a sponsor or third-party provider, the Promoter remains responsible for the administration of the competition unless expressly stated otherwise.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel a competition where reasonably necessary in accordance with these Competition Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

1.3 Acceptance of Competition Rules

By entering any PWR competition, whether through a paid entry or an available free
postal entry route, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Competition Terms & Conditions.

  • Agree to comply with these Competition Terms & Conditions and the Competition Rules for the relevant competition.

  • Meet all applicable eligibility requirements.

  • Accept that failure to comply with these Competition Terms & Conditions or the Competition Rules may result in your entry being declared invalid.

These Competition Terms & Conditions should be read alongside the PWR Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any additional documents referenced within the Competition Rules.


If you do not agree to these Competition Terms & Conditions, you should not enter the competition.


PWR is committed to operating every competition fairly, transparently and with integrity, ensuring that all eligible participants have an equal opportunity to win in accordance with the published Competition Rules.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Who Can Enter

Unless otherwise stated in the Competition Rules, PWR competitions are open to individuals who satisfy the eligibility requirements set out in these Competition Terms & Conditions and the PWR Website Terms & Conditions.

To enter a competition, participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  •  Be legally eligible to participate in accordance with the Competition Rules.

  • Meet any residency requirements specified for the competition.

  • Hold a valid PWR account where required.

  • Comply with all applicable Terms & Conditions and Competition Rules.

Employees, contractors, agents, immediate family members or anyone directly involved in the administration of a competition may be excluded from entering where necessary to protect the fairness and integrity of the competition.

2.2 Age Requirements

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry unless a different minimum age is expressly stated within the Competition Rules and permitted by applicable law.


PWR reserves the right to request proof of age before confirming a winner or awarding any prize.


If an entrant is unable to provide satisfactory proof of age when requested, PWR may declare the entry invalid and select an alternative winner in accordance with theCompetition Rules.

2.3 UK Residency Requirements

Unless otherwise stated within the Competition Rules, competitions are open only to individuals who are legal residents of the United Kingdom.

 

Entrants may be required to provide satisfactory proof of residency before a prize is awarded.


Entries submitted by individuals who do not satisfy the residency requirements may be declared invalid.


Any competition-specific residency restrictions will be clearly stated within the relevant Competition Rules.

2.4 Identity Verification

To protect the fairness, security and integrity of our competitions, PWR reserves the right to verify the identity of any entrant before confirming a prize.


Verification may include requesting:

  • Government-issued photographic identification.

  • Proof of residential address.

  • Proof of payment where appropriate.

  • Any other information reasonably required to confirm eligibility.

Failure to complete identity verification within the timeframe requested by PWR may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternative winner.

3. Competition Entry

3.1 How to Enter

Participants may enter a PWR competition by following the entry instructions published within the relevant Competition Rules.

Where applicable, entries may be submitted by:

  • Using the available free postal entry route in accordance with the Competition Rules.

  • Any other entry method expressly stated for the competition.

An entry will only be considered valid once all applicable entry requirements have been satisfied.

3.2 Entry Prices

Where a competition requires payment, the entry price will be clearly displayed before an entry is submitted.


Entry prices are stated in Pounds Sterling (£) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.


Payment must be successfully authorised before a paid entry is accepted. A failed, cancelled or reversed payment may result in the associated entry being declared invalid.


Purchasing additional entries increases the number of valid entries held by the participant but does not guarantee winning.
